at Turkey Hill and Morris Farms, Maine
About Turkey Hill Farm
The historic farm house, barn, and 25 acres are owned by the Eastman family. Peter and his son John are managing their Cape Elizabeth gem as a community resource and are working to place the lands under conservation.
Also at Turkey Hill Farm is Cultivating Community, a Portland based non-profit. Cultivating Community's mission is to feed our hungry, empower youth and model sustainable farming.
Farm Camp is excited to return to the Morris Farm for our second summer.
Founded in 1994, the Morris Farm was created in an effort to preserve and operate one of the last remaining farms in Wiscassett, Maine. The Morris Farm is both a working farm and an educational resource for the communities of mid-coast Maine. The certified organic 50 acres support a demonstration garden, pastured poultry, pigs, cows, sheep, four draft horses and three dozen laying hens. The remaining acres are wooded with hiking trails and a fresh water pond.
